Erica trimera subsp. elgonensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) di kawasan tropis Afrika bagian timur (Gn. Elgon). Nama ilmiah Erica trimera subsp. elgonensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johannes Mildbraed pada tahun 1990.
