Erigeron chiangii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Meksiko (Coahuila). Nama ilmiah Erigeron chiangii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Guy L. Nesom pada tahun 1979.
