Erigeron incomptus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Utah barat daya hingga Texas barat an Meksiko utara. Nama ilmiah Erigeron incomptus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Asa Gray pada tahun 1884.
