Erigeron inoptatus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Meksiko (Chihuahua). Nama ilmiah Erigeron inoptatus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Asa Gray pada tahun 1886.
