Erigeron metrius merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Meksiko timur laut. Nama ilmiah Erigeron metrius pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Sidney Fay Blake pada tahun 1942.
