Erigeron philadelphicus var. provancheri merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada bagian timur hingga Amerika Serikat timur laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan philadelphia fleabane. Nama ilmiah Erigeron philadelphicus var. provancheri diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Conrad Kirouac, Brother Marie-Victorin pada tahun 1972.
