Erigeron potosinus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Meksiko timur laut. Nama ilmiah Erigeron potosinus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Paul Carpenter Standley pada tahun 1940.
