Erigeron tener merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Nama ilmiah Erigeron tener diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Marcus Eugene Jones pada tahun 1891. Nama spesies ini merupakan sinonim dari Erigeron eatonii var. eatonii.
