Erigeron velutipes merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Arizona hingga Meksiko. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan chihuahuan fleabane. Nama ilmiah Erigeron velutipes diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama William Jackson Hooker pada tahun 1841.
