SIMPSON'S CUPGRASS Eriochloamichauxii var. simpsonii Hitchc.
Eriochloa michauxii var. simpsonii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Florida barat daya (hingga Keys). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan simpson's cupgrass. Nama ilmiah Eriochloa michauxii var. simpsonii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Albert Spear Hitchcock pada tahun 1928.
