TEXAS CUPGRASS Eriochloasericea (Scheele) Munro ex Vasey
Eriochloa sericea merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kansas hingga Meksiko timur laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan texas cupgrass. Nama ilmiah Eriochloa sericea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Heinrich Adolf Scheele pada tahun 1892.
