Eriogonum giganteum var. compactum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Polygonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah California (Pulau Santa Barbara, Pulau Sutil). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan santa barbara island buckwheat. Nama ilmiah Eriogonum giganteum var. compactum pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 1943.
