Eriogonum grande var. rubescens merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Polygonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah California Kepulauan Channel utara). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan redflower buckwheat. Nama ilmiah Eriogonum grande var. rubescens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1935.
