Eriogonum spathulatum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Polygonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Utah bagian barat-tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan spoonleaf buckwheat. Nama ilmiah Eriogonum spathulatum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Asa Gray pada tahun 1874.
