TALL BUCKWHEAT Eriogonumtenellum var. platyphyllum (Torr. ex Benth.) Torr.
Eriogonum tenellum var. platyphyllum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Polygonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Texas barat hingga Meksiko timur laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan tall buckwheat. Nama ilmiah Eriogonum tenellum var. platyphyllum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Torrey pada tahun 1859.
