Eriogonum umbellatum var. cognatum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Polygonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Arizona. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan sulphur-flower buckwheat. Nama ilmiah Eriogonum umbellatum var. cognatum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1968.
