Eriophorum tenellum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada bagian timur hingga Amerika Serikat bagian utara-tengah dan timur laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan fewnerved cottongrass. Nama ilmiah Eriophorum tenellum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Thomas Nuttall pada tahun 1818.
