Eryngium diffusum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Oklahoma hingga Meksiko timur laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan spreading eryngo. Nama ilmiah Eryngium diffusum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John Torrey pada tahun 1827.
