Erythrina buchii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Hispaniola. Nama ilmiah Erythrina buchii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ignatz Urban pada tahun 1921.
