Erythrina falcata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Peru dan Brazil hingga Argentina bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Erythrina falcata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama George Bentham pada tahun 1859.
