Erythrina horrida adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko (Oaxaca). Nama ilmiah Erythrina horrida pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis José Mariano Mociño pada tahun 1825.
