Erythrophleum africanum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan tropis Afrika hingga Namibia utara. Nama ilmiah Erythrophleum africanum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Bentham pada tahun 1913.
