Escallonia chlorophylla merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Escalloniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Brazil tenggara dan selatan. Nama ilmiah Escallonia chlorophylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Adelbert von Chamisso pada tahun 1826.
