Escallonia hispida adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Escalloniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil tenggara. Nama ilmiah Escallonia hispida pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis José Mariano da Conceição Vellozo pada tahun 1968.
