Escallonia hypoglauca adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Escalloniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bolivia hingga Argentina barat laut. Nama ilmiah Escallonia hypoglauca pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Theodor Carl Julius Herzog pada tahun 1915.
