Escallonia resinosa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Escalloniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ekuador hingga Bolivia. Nama ilmiah Escallonia resinosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Hipólito Ruiz López pada tahun 1805.
