Escallonia rubra var. thalassica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Escalloniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Chili tengah. Nama ilmiah Escallonia rubra var. thalassica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Eberhard Max Leopold Kausel pada tahun 1953.
