Eschweilera bracteosa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lecythidaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia (Caquetá) hingga Venezuela selatan dan Peru. Nama ilmiah Eschweilera bracteosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Eduard Friedrich Poeppig pada tahun 1874.
