Eschweilera grandiflora merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lecythidaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari French Guiana hingga Peru. Nama ilmiah Eschweilera grandiflora pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jean Baptiste Christophore Fusée Aublet pada tahun 1955.
