Eschweilera ovata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lecythidaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil. Nama ilmiah Eschweilera ovata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jacques Cambessèdes pada tahun 1874.
