Espeletia hartwegiana merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis di wilayah Kolombia. Nama ilmiah Espeletia hartwegiana diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Heinrich "Bipontinus" Schultz pada tahun 1933.
