Eucalyptus gracilis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Myrtaceae (suku jambu-jambuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Australia selatan dan tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan red mallee. Nama ilmiah Eucalyptus gracilis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ferdinand von Mueller pada tahun 1855.
