SHINING GUM Eucalyptusnitens (H.Deane & Maiden) Maiden
Eucalyptus nitens merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Myrtaceae (suku jambu-jambuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari New South Wales tenggara hingga Victoria timur laut dan timur-tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan shining gum. Nama ilmiah Eucalyptus nitens diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Henry Deane pada tahun 1913.
