Eucalyptus occidentalis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Myrtaceae (suku jambu-jambuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Australia Barat bagian barat daya dan selatan. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan flat-top yate. Nama ilmiah Eucalyptus occidentalis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Stephan Friedrich Ladislaus Endlicher pada tahun 1837.
