Euclea coriacea merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Ebenaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Euclea coriacea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alphonse Louis Pierre Pyrame de Candolle pada tahun 1844.
