Euclea crispa subsp. ovata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Ebenaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Euclea crispa subsp. ovata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William John Burchell pada tahun 1980.
