Eugenia cordata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Myrtaceae (suku jambu-jambuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Puerto Rico hingga Lesser Antilles. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan lathberry. Nama ilmiah Eugenia cordata diperkenalkan oleh Olof Peter Swartz pada tahun 1828.
