Eugenia stipitata subsp. sororia merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Myrtaceae (suku jambu-jambuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ekuador hingga Peru. Nama ilmiah Eugenia stipitata subsp. sororia pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Rogers McVaugh pada tahun 1956.
