Eupatorium maracayuense merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Brazil (Paraná) hingga Paraguay. Nama ilmiah Eupatorium maracayuense diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Robert Hippolyte Chodat pada tahun 1903.
