Eupatorium pubescens merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat timur. Nama ilmiah Eupatorium pubescens diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Gotthilf Heinrich Ernst Muhlenberg pada tahun 1803.
