Euphorbia andrachnoides merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Altay hingga Mongolia. Nama ilmiah Euphorbia andrachnoides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alexander Gustav von Schrenk pada tahun 1844.
