Euphorbia aphylla merupakan tumbuhan semisukulen dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan) yang bebentuk perdu atau perdu kecil. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Kepulauan Kanaria (Gran Canaria utara, Tenerife barat laut, La Gomera utara). Nama ilmiah Euphorbia aphylla diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Pierre Marie Auguste Broussonet pada tahun 1809.
