Euphorbia carissoides merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Queensland Utara. Nama ilmiah Euphorbia carissoides diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Frederick Manson Bailey pada tahun 1906.
