Euphorbia haussknechtii merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Türkiye utara, Suriah utara. Nama ilmiah Euphorbia haussknechtii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1866.
