Euphorbia humifusa merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Moldova hingga Temp. Asia. Nama ilmiah Euphorbia humifusa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Ludwig von Willdenow pada tahun 1814.
