Euphorbia microsphaera adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kriti, Mediterania timur, hingga Mongolia. Nama ilmiah Euphorbia microsphaera pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1846.
