Euphorbia ocymoidea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko, Amerika tengah, hingga Venezuela utara. Nama ilmiah Euphorbia ocymoidea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1753.
