Euphorbia stictospora merupakan tumbuhan semusim atau menahun dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Serikat bagian barat-tengah dan tengah hingga Meksiko. Nama ilmiah Euphorbia stictospora pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Georg Engelmann pada tahun 1859.
