Euphorbia stracheyi adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Himalaya hingga China bagian tengah dan barat. Nama ilmiah Euphorbia stracheyi pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1862.
