Euphorbia trichotoma Kunth

Euphorbia trichotoma merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Florida selatan,Meksiko tenggara hingga Belize, Bahama, Kuba, Kepulauan Cayman. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan sanddune spurge. Nama ilmiah Euphorbia trichotoma pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1817.
